  • Founded in 1966 by Sensei Denny Shaffer and guided by Sensei Phil McElroy in the late 1970's and early 1980's ; the Karate School of Nashville, Inc. rose to prominence as one of the Mid-South's premier karate schools, teaching kung fu and karate. In the late 1980's, Butch Hill expanded the scope of training to include Jujitsu, Arnis and modern weaponry. http://www.shaffersdragons.com

 

  • Our training program seeks to temper students both mentally and physically using the discipline of the martial ways. Among these :
